Mr. Mboma Iheanyi was first appointed to the Public Service in 2002, and he rose through the ranks to the position of the Director, Office of the Director General/Chief Executive Officer, National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD).

 He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and a Masters in Public Administration. He has participated in various Capacity Building Training Programmes including a Professional Development Course in Leadership and Management in Health with the University of Washington. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management.

Prior to his promotion to the position of Director, Office of the Director General/Chief Executive Office, he has served as the Special Assistant to the Director General/Chief Executive Officer (Administration) NIPRD.
